"My wife and I built this car together in our garage and started racing it in 2001. The car is a 1965 Ford Ranchero with a 342ci small block Ford, C4 tranny with transbrake and Continental 3500 stall converter, 4.56 gears in a 9" rear end and 28.5 X 10.5 M&H Racemaster slicks.
With lots of help from friends, family and sponsors, we have a few championship series wins to our credit, including the 2003 California Classic with a repeat championship in 2004. We also won the Good Guys Vintage Racing Association Series in 2004. Our team also won two National Dragster Challenge "Wallys" and numerous other events including 20 wins at Los Angeles County Raceway between 2002 and 2007.
I use the Portatree Eliminator 2000 religiously at the track and at home to stay sharp on the tree, and it has paid off. Thanks for a great tool!
Special thanks to my main sponsor Cabo Wabo Tequila; I wouldn't be racing without their help. And these guys help keep it running: Milodon, Clay Smith Cams, ARP, MSD, SCE Gaskets.
See you at the races!"
