- PHOTO CELL INTERFACE (25 Pin Connection) - Has Inputs for PreStage, Stage, Guard, 60 FT, Mid E.T., MPH/KPH, and Finish in 2 lanes. A Lot Of Power! Has a separate 25 pin D-Sub Tree Connection. Has Start, Tower Ready, and Reset Connections.
- ACCURACY -.001 Second Accuracy in Stand Alone Mode and .00001 Accuracy in PC Mode.
- EXTERNAL Win Lights & Stop Lights! - A signal is provided so that the user can provide win lights at the end of the race track. Win Lights on the Christmas Tree (Top Amber Flashes in winning lane) are always active. Stop Light signals are provided so that when the racer crosses the finish the Stop Light signal in that lane is activated. Great Feature for Tracks with Short Shutdown.
- STARTER & RESET SWITCH - The Starter Switch can be set up at a remote location like the starting line. Starter and Reset Switches are provided on the track interface box in the tower.
- GRAPHICS DISPLAY - Stand Alone Mode ONLY - The LCD Display shows information on each lane . A user interface screen is provided so that you can enter Car Number and Dial-In. A results screen shows the Reaction Time, Dial-In, Elapsed Time(E.T.) and MPH or KPH. User Menu selection screens for changing setup are also displayed. NOTE: Disabled in PC Mode.
- SINGLE RUNSCan do single vehicle runs. Can be RESET if one vehicle doesn’t finish.

Additional Features & Hardware Changes
- ALL user interface with Eliminator is now done with your PC Software. You can queue up entries (enter up to 2 pair ahead) in advance of the race even while Racing!
- MPH & KPH - Trap distance can be changed in the PC Software.
- TIME SLIP MESSAGE - Can be changed in the PC Software. Header & Footer information are editable. Printout information can be enabled or disabled.
- RS-232 SERIAL PORT for LED Display is used by PC. The PC supports large LED readout for Dial-In board or Informational display (Results).
- DIAGNOSTICS mode on PC.
- OPTIONAL SOFTWARE UPGRADES for:
- 1. Scoreboard Support
- 2. Auto Start
- 3. Announcer Software (must use additional computer on LAN)
Two Very Important Features
- 1. The Eliminator Super 2000 Competition Track Timer can be used as the BACKUP TIMER for the Portatree Professional Ultimate Track System (Gold Box) in either Stand Alone or PC Modes. NOTE: The Eliminator Competition Track Time "Can Not" be used with the older Professional (Silver Box) Track Systems.
- 2. The Eliminator 2000 Competition can be used like a simulator for trade shows and corporate hospitality. Spectators can compete for Best Reaction Time, and the Christmas Tree shows a win light. The Eliminator Super 2000 comes with two hand switches and a wall transformer.
Special Features
Unique features offered with the Eliminator Super 2000 Competition Track System
- TOP BULB OSCILLATE (FULL TREE) - This feature allows the track operator to set the computer into a mode that makes the top amber on the Christmas tree never come on at the correct time. The second and third bulbs operate as the normally would, but any driver with a delay box trying to leave off of the top bulb will never be able to cut a consistent reaction time. This helps the track operator by eliminating the need to police cars for delay boxes in classes where no delay boxes are allowed. This is also a good deterrent to people trying to cheat.
- TREE SPEED SET - The normal .500 and .400 Tree Speeds in Full and Pro Tree are preset in the computer. If a track operator wanted to initiate a special tree speed, it can be done in the setup menu. Any custom speed between .100 and .900 seconds can be entered into the computer. Tree Speeds can be set to .001 seconds.
- FULL AND PRO TREE RACES IN THE SAME CLASS - This feature allows the track operator to run Full Tree against Pro Tree with any tree speed setting. You can run an all out anything goes category with handicaps and true win. This is a great promotional feature that will attract many new racers and fans to your track.
- PERFECT TREE .000 OR .400/.500 (TREE SPEED) - The software is setup to report Reaction Time as .000 Perfect Light or Tree Speed as the Perfect Light.
- PACKAGE RACING, BRACKET RACING (BREAKOUTS), OR FIRST FINISH - Every promoter knows about Bracket Racing or First Finish, but Package Racing is a whole new concept that is safer and more fun for spectators. Instead of having a Red Light Foul or a Breakout spoil the racing action, we allow a racer to go .100 under a Perfect Light (.101 under will red light) and still go green! We added the absolute value of their Reaction Time (over or under) to the absolute value of the ET vs. Dial-In (over or under the Dial-In) and see which racer has the better package. In Package Racing you CAN NOT Breakout.
EXAMPLE (Using .000 as a perfect light):
Racer 1: .017 RT – 9.529 ET on 9.52 Dial
Racer 1 Package: .017 + .009 = .026
Racer 2: -.011 RT – 9.106 ET on 9.12 Dial
Racer 2 Package: .011 + .014 = .025 (Winner)
- DIAGNOSTICS - A new diagnostics screen is provided that helps analyze all inputs and outputs of the Eliminator Super 2000 Competition Track Timer. This is helpful in troubleshooting photocell inputs. You can tie inputs to the Tree Lights so that one person can troubleshoot sensor connection & alignment.
- DIAL-IN DISPLAY BOARD (Optional) - The racer will know exactly what their Dial-Ins are when they pull up to the starting line. The system supports 2 Dial-In boards: One in the burnout area and One on top of the tree. They are setup with two unique network addresses and work off the same data cable.
- TOP BULB LOCK - Also known as "Cross Talk". When this feature is turned ON, the top amber bulb in each lane comes on at the same time on a handicapped tree. The second and third amber will operate as they normally would.
- MICROSOFT WINDOWS XP™ COMPATIBLE SOFTWARE - The Portatree Drag Race Software is Windows XP™ Professional and Home edition compatible. Portatree Timing Systems is the only track system on the market that allows customers to use their own PC to connect to the track system. This allows the customer to upgrade their computers at any time as technology improves.
- ELIMINATOR 2000 COMPETITION TRACK TIME - Stand Alone Mode: Portatree's Eliminator Super 2000 and Eliminator 2000 Plus "Blue Face Unit" Competition Track Units can be used as an emergency Stand Alone backup system. Both the Eliminator Super 2000 and 2000 Plus Competition Track Timers support PreStage, Stage, Guard, 60 FT, Mid-Track E.T., Finish MPH/KPH, Finish E.T., Win-Lights and Stop-Lights. Time slips will show all results including Breakouts and Car Numbers. Dial-In displays "if setup" are also supported.

- Must be connected to IBM Compatible Computer for PC Operation.
- Eliminator Super 2000 and Eliminator 2000 Plus are directly compatible to Track Interface box wiring, and both can be used as a Backup Stand Alone system in case of PC failure.
- Timing to .00001 seconds in PC Mode and .001 seconds in Stand Alone Mode. Prints on Time Slips to .001 seconds in both Modes.
